Attendance
Regular and punctual attendance is very important. In accordance with the Hillsborough County School District's attendance policy, the reason for each student's absence must be reported to the school.
Please call 813-673-4470 before 9:00 a.m. on the day of your child's absence to report the reason for his or her absence.
Our school rewards students with perfect attendance and no tardiness every nine weeks and at the end of each school year. Unexcused or excessive absences, excessive tardies, and/or excessive early sign-outs will preclude your child's participation in the incentive program.
To fully benefit from the instructional program, students are expected to attend school regularly, be on time for classes, and satisfy all academic requirements.
Conferences and Visitations
Conferences are an effective means by which to communicate with your child's teacher. In order not to interrupt a class, we ask that conferences with teachers be arranged prior to and after the student day. If a parent wishes to visit a classroom, we ask that prior arrangements be made with the classroom teacher. A visitor permit or permission from the school office can then be secured.
